Spring 2018 Curriculum Impact Grant Workshop
On April 20th, 2018, from 9:00am – 12:00pm, the Undergraduate office will offer a workshop detailing the Curriculum Impact Grant and the Mason Impact experience, providing time and guidance in building a proposal. The workshop will also provide opportunities to build and expand teams who have interests across disciplines. Acceptance into the workshop is based on a workshop attendee proposal for either already-formed teams or individual faulty, staff, or administrators interested in participating in a curriculum impact team. Fully-formed curriculum ideas are not necessary for this workshop. The workshop is designed for teams to carve out time to talk about their ideas and for individuals to find teams to start building toward a complete proposal.
For team submissions:
- Project name
- Narrative of no more than 300 words about your curriculum project; including the courses and programs that may be created or redesigned as part of this grant
- Primary team contact
- List of team members
- Narrative of no more than 100 words on why you are interested in collaborating across disciplines and what type of projects peak your interest
- Choice of one Mason Impact focus area (undergraduate research, civic engagement, entrepreneurship) that you feel fits your interests the best
The workshop proposals are due by April 6th, 2018 and can be submitted via our web form.
